Following a recent outbreak of measles in London, we strongly advise all parents and carers to ensure that children are fully immunised with the MMR vaccine.
In July, we will start trying a new online form on our practice website, powered by Bookable.
It is a new way to request care from your GP Practice. You can use it if you have a new health problem, need advice about an existing condition, or have an admin request. It will try to help route you to the right care faster, and help our clinicians and staff action your requests faster too
In the first week, some patients may be invited to use the new form. This will help us make sure the new form is working well before we make it available to everyone.
Please use the form when you need help or advice from the practice. Although this is a trial, requests submitted through the form should be for real health or care needs, so we can make sure the service works well.
How does it work?
The form asks simple questions about your health or your request. The questions personalised based on your answers, so you only answer questions that are right for you – while not being asked too many questions.
Once you send your form, the information you provide helps us assess how urgent it is and sends it to the right member of the team for review. This helps us respond to patients as quickly as possible.
We hope this new system will make it easier to tell us what you need, reduce the need to contact you for more information, and help us provide the right care more quickly.
What about the Evergreen app?
The Evergreen app is still our digital front door. You can continue to use the app to order repeat prescriptions, monitor your health goals, and enjoy 24/7 access to your GP medical record.
What happens next?
Once we are happy the new form is working well, we will make it available to all patients and let everyone know.
We plan to run the trial for a few months. After that, we will decide if the new form should become part of how patients can access care online.
